You stated above that "In Singapore, rental yields of 3 to 4 per cent are common." Are you referring to Net Rental Yield or Gross Rental Yield for that range?

vince_ceThis is an interesting question. Rental yields can vary due to few simple conditions:
1) Price of Purchase of property (Quantum).
2) When you are renting out.
3) Location of your property
In Singapore, Nett Rental Yield of 3 to 4 percent is common. However, certain districts like 9,10,11,12,15 may be able to fetch higher Nett Rental Yield of 4 to 5 percent.
Generally, As long as you purchase your property at One of the Lowest price, rental yield will stay high most of the time during the term you own the propertyPosted on 31-Mar-2009 1:27 AM | Report AbuseRate this answer: 1
