Can DVDs purchased from Amazon be viewed with Spore players?

Hi, I noticed that DVDs listed on Amazon have dvd formats that are sub-divided into region codes, each representing a different part of the world. I have a multidisk dvd player purchased in Singapore, will I be able to play, say, a USA format dvd?

    If I'm not wrong, Singapore is region 3 whereas US is region 1. So if you have a region-free DVD player you should be able to play it. Maybe you wanna check the region of your DVD player? Or else play on your PC lor. hehe. :p
