Can anyone recommend me a good DSLR?

Please state brand and price. Would prefer one that is not too expensive.

    It is best to visit a reputable camera shop carrying DSLRs.
    Cathay Photo at Peninsula Plaza and MS Color in Ang Mo Kio are good places to try out many models at once.

    For entry level, you can go for Canon 450D or Nikon's D60 and D80 or perhaps even D90, Sony's Alpha entry level models are also possible choices.

    If you want something better, go for Canon's 40D, Nikon's D300 or Sony's Alpha higher end models.

    Try and see which brand's interface (the buttons, dials and LCDs) suit you best.

    hmm..you can check out the Nikon D60 DSLR...Think the kit costs around SGD$1300 with a 18-55mm Vibration Reduction(VR) kit lens. Not a bad deal considering u get a lens with VR tech. the D60 is a pretty starter level DSLR. Cheers!
